- We collect only the personal information needed to provide the O Wealth App: your email address and the financial figures and notes you choose to enter.
- Your plan is confidential. We do not sell or “share” your personal information (as those terms are defined under applicable law), and we do not use it for advertising.
- We never request online-banking credentials, full card or account numbers, or government identification numbers, and the App does not connect to any financial institution.
- You may access, correct, export or delete your information at any time, as described in Section 10.
This summary is for convenience only. The full Policy below governs.
1. Who we are and scope
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how O Wealth LLC (“O Wealth”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, retains and protects personal information in connection with the O Wealth App, available at o-wealth-six.vercel.app and any successor domain (the “App”). O Wealth is the business responsible for (the “controller” of) the personal information described in this Policy.
The App is a budgeting and money-planning tool made available exclusively to enrolled students of O Wealth programs (“you” or “Students”). This Policy applies only to the App. It does not apply to third-party platforms, such as the Skool community platform or payment providers, which are governed by their own privacy policies.
By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Policy. Where consent is required by law, we obtain it as described in Section 4.

2.3 Information we do not collect
We do not collect online-banking or card credentials, full payment-card or bank-account numbers, Social Security or Social Insurance Numbers, precise geolocation, contacts, or biometric information. We do not use analytics, advertising or cross-context tracking technologies in the App.
Receipt scanning. If you use the receipt-scanning feature, the image is processed locally on your device by software running in your browser. The image is not transmitted to or stored by O Wealth; only the amount you confirm is saved to your plan.
3. Purposes and legal bases
We use personal information only for the following purposes, and do not use it for purposes incompatible with them without your consent:
| Purpose | Information used | Legal basis (where applicable, e.g. GDPR) |

Personnel of O Wealth do not review the content of Students' plans except where necessary to maintain or secure the App, to respond to your request for assistance, or as required by law. Access to the database is limited to the account owner of O Wealth.
4. Consent
By creating your account and entering information into the App, you consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information for the purposes described in Section 3. The monthly reminder email is sent only with your separate, express consent, given by ticking a box or turning on the reminder in the App. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice; withdrawing consent to the core processing in Section 3 means we can no longer provide the App to you.
5. Disclosure to service providers
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We disclose personal information only to the following service providers (“processors” or “service providers”), which act on our behalf under written terms that require them to protect the information and use it only to provide their services to us:
| Provider | Service | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Supabase, Inc. | Database hosting, authentication, login emails, scheduled tasks | United States (Oregon) |
| Vercel Inc. | Hosting and delivery of the App's web pages | United States and global edge network |
| Resend, Inc. (when enabled) | Delivery of reminder and login emails | United States |
| Google LLC (Google Fonts) and jsDelivr | Delivery of fonts and software files; these providers receive your IP address when your browser requests the files | United States and global networks |
We may also disclose personal information (a) where required by law, court order or other legal process; (b) to protect the rights, property or safety of O Wealth, our Students or others; or (c) in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of all or part of our business, in which case the recipient will be bound to treat the information in accordance with this Policy, and you will be notified as required by law.
6. Storage and cross-border transfers
Your plan is stored (a) locally in your browser on each device you use, and (b) in our database hosted in the United States. If you reside outside the United States, including in Canada, Québec, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your personal information will be transferred to, stored and processed in the United States, where it may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement and national-security authorities under U.S. law. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses incorporated in our providers' data processing terms, and we have assessed that the information will receive adequate protection.
7. Browser storage and cookies
The App uses your browser's local storage and an offline cache (service worker) that are strictly necessary to provide the service: to keep you logged in, to store a copy of your plan on your device, and to let the App open without an internet connection. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Because we do not engage in tracking across websites, we do not respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals; we honor Global Privacy Control signals to the extent required by law, although we do not sell or share personal information in any case. When you log out, the copy of your plan stored on that device is deleted.
8. Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
- Account and plan: for as long as you have access to the App. If your enrollment ends, your plan is retained for up to twenty-four (24) months so it can be restored if you return, after which it is deleted or anonymized, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.
- Reminder preferences: until you withdraw consent or your account is deleted.
- Security and technical logs kept by our providers: according to their standard retention periods, generally not exceeding ninety (90) days.
When you request deletion, we delete your account and plan within thirty (30) days, except for information we must retain to comply with a legal obligation.
9. Security and incidents
We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including: encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS); encryption at rest by our hosting provider; password-less authentication by single-use links; database access rules (row-level security) that allow each Student to read and modify only their own plan, and only while enrolled; and restriction of administrative access to the account owner of O Wealth. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
In the event of a confidentiality incident or data breach involving your personal information that presents a risk of harm, we will notify you and the competent authorities as and when required by applicable law, and keep a record of incidents as required by law.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you and obtain information about how it is processed;
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information (most information can be corrected directly in the App);
- Delete your personal information;
- Data portability: receive a copy in a structured, commonly used format (you can do this yourself with “Download a backup” in My account);
- Withdraw consent, including to the monthly reminder email;
- Object to or restrict certain processing, where applicable;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights. Contact us as described in Section 18. We will verify your identity, normally by confirming the request from the email address associated with your account, and respond within thirty (30) days, or within the period required by applicable law (which may be extended where permitted, with notice to you). You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where permitted by law; we may require proof of authorization. If we deny your request, we will explain why and, where applicable, how to appeal.
Appeals. If you are a resident of a U.S. state that provides a right to appeal, you may appeal our decision by replying to our response with the subject “Privacy appeal”. We will respond within the period required by law and, if we deny the appeal, inform you of how to contact your state Attorney General.

- Sale and sharing: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and have not done so in the last 12 months. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of consumers under 16.
- Sensitive personal information: we do not collect account log-in credentials, financial account numbers in combination with access codes, or other sensitive personal information as defined by law, and we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes other than those permitted by law.

- Complaints: you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca) or, in Québec, the Commission d'accès à l'information (cai.gouv.qc.ca). We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.
13. Additional information for EEA, U.K. and Swiss residents
Where the General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR), the U.K. GDPR or the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection applies, O Wealth LLC is the controller of your personal data. Legal bases are listed in Section 3; international transfers are described in Section 6. You have the rights listed in Section 10, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement.
14. Electronic communications
We send transactional emails necessary to provide the App, such as login links. The monthly reminder email is a separate communication sent only with your express consent. Each reminder identifies O Wealth LLC, includes our mailing address and contains a one-click unsubscribe link; you may also turn reminders off in the App at any time. We process unsubscribe requests promptly and in any event within ten (10) business days, in accordance with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
15. Children
The App is intended for adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of eighteen (18). We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, or from children under 13 within the meaning of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
16. No financial advice; automated calculations
The App provides general educational tools. Recommendations displayed in the App, such as suggested allocations of income, are produced by fixed calculations applied to the figures you enter. They do not constitute personalized financial, investment, tax, accounting or legal advice, and do not produce legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. You should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.
17. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy in the App and revise the “Last updated” date above. If we make material changes, we will provide notice in the App or by email before the changes take effect and, where required by law, obtain your consent.
18. Contact; Privacy Officer
O Wealth has designated its founder, Ornella, as the person in charge of the protection of personal information (Privacy Officer). For any question, request or complaint concerning this Policy or your personal information, please contact the Privacy Officer by private message to Ornella in the O Wealth community on Skool, with the subject “Privacy”.
